This page describes cookies and similar technologies on menshealthinstitute.org. It sits next to the privacy policy. We do not run a comment system, a newsletter signup, or a logged-in account.

What we set ourselves

mnhi-consent-v1 is stored in localStorage when you choose “Allow analytics” or “Essential only.” It remembers that choice. It is not an advertising identifier.

Google Analytics

If you allow analytics, we load Google Analytics 4 with measurement ID G-JL4VG58RG1. Google may set cookies such as _ga and _ga_* to recognize returning browsers, collect approximate location from IP, device and browser type, and pages viewed. We ask Google to anonymize IP addresses. We do not use Analytics to build a medical file on you.

If you choose essential only, Analytics is not loaded on that browser until you change your mind (clear site data and pick again).

Google AdSense (not live yet)

We have not placed AdSense ad code on this site. When that happens, Google and its partners may set cookies, read cookies, and use web beacons or IP addresses to serve ads and measure them. Google’s own explanation is here: How Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Personalized ads in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland require a certified consent management platform (for example Google Funding Choices / IAB TCF). The banner on this site only records analytics consent. It is not that CMP. We will not treat a click on “Allow analytics” as consent for personalized ads.

Browser controls

You can delete cookies and block third-party cookies in your browser. Blocking all cookies can break basic features. You can also use Google Ads Settings and the NAI opt-out when advertising cookies exist.
